I think Mr. Roxas' campaign managers could've done a much better job than this. In fairness, he has gone a long way from being Mr. Palengke.

Well best of luck, but the least presidential candidates could do is think that we, Filipinos, would swallow any more of this kind of.. stuff. There's a slogan but there's not even a clear promise for the future, to the very least. They won't get our vote for promoting him in this light.

Anyway, was the little boy played by Bronson of Kasal Kasali Kasalo fame? I'm not too sure.

PS. Judy Ann and Ryan Agoncillo got wedded this week. I'm so happy for them! Did you see the footage? It's shocking that nobody really knew that it would actually happen this week. They did a good job at keeping it secret and only the immediate family members and close friends were invited. Kris and Boy in SNN (im sure) are asking in their heads "why am I not invited to the rites?"

What will you name your future baby?

If I'd have a baby (that is in the future, cross fingers), I'd name her 'Kara' if she's a girl. It's perfect and I find it unique. I also heard my friend say she wanted to name her future baby 'Hiyas' which means gem in Filipino. Great choice! But I still haven't thought of a name for a son. I found a site that gives you a huge database of names and their meanings! Namespedia.com is where you can find gazillions of names listed. Makes it easier for future moms out there who haven't decided. You can also add your own unique name, put a name meaning and list it under any nationality. Right now I'm contemplating on Alexander, a famous Macedonian name. So, what will you name your baby? Go ahead check their list!

Manny P. and Chip T.

Hi Manny,

No matter how many statements are issued out, one thing is certain, ... i smell money, dirty money. And lies -- lots of it.

I hope he stops being a celebrity. Why can't he just be the hero we loved way back when he was boxing in RPN 9? I guess these scandals come with fame. Well, I still hope he wins against Hatton.

i think i heard this one before.
Hi Chip.

You call us a nation of servants?. Well, let's just brush your memory. Here's three things for you: Melamine, S.A.R.S, and lead paint in kid's toys! As a patriotic Filipina citizen, this has made my blood boil. So I'm summoning the chinese living here. I'm telling them that if you still want to continue constructing huge malls in my country, you better tell your compatriots in Chinatown on Sunday that you won't send us any more me-la-mine. As a community of immigrant descendants, you don’t flex your muscles at us, Filipino natives, from whom you earn most of your bread and butter from your businesses. Careful tsao, we have chinese hostages in each of our cities.

So Mr. Tsao, it doesn't sound so great right? i am just using your words.

Well anyway, he made an apology to the Filipino Consulate in HongKong. He's forgiven but I hope he becomes more careful next time in the name of responsible journalism.
